Are Premium Letter LLLL.coms really worth their price?

A scan of 150 random (created by a statistician) LLLL.coms beginning with the letter A returned  37 developed sites — about 25%, which is wonderful 🙂

Of particular interest, perhaps, is that far, far more VCVC’s are developed than quad premiums, despite comparable pricing. In fact, quad premiums didn’t really even outperform LLLL.coms with 1 bad letter, as seen below:

YES denotes a developed site (and not a developed site for selling LLLL.coms)
NO denotes either an unresolving site, parked page, for sale page, or redirect which isn’t deemed relevant.

* Redirects counted as YES in cases where I believe the owner would legitimately be interested in that domain name had it not been theirs. There are very few redirects in this list (~5%), so I doubt my judgement here will heavily skew results one way or the other.

Just goes to show how much of a bargain LLLL.coms with 1 bad letter (max 2) really are…
